This market will resolve according to the player that finishes the 2026 WNBA regular season with the highest steals per game average of any qualified player. In the event of a tie for the highest steals per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard. If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).Rhyne Howard of the Atlanta Dream has established a commanding lead in the 2026 WNBA steals-per-game race, averaging 2.33 over 39 games with 91 total steals, well ahead of Jordin Canada at 1.90 and the rest of the field. Her combination of high minutes, defensive activity, and consistent production across the regular season underpins the overwhelming trader consensus reflected in her elevated implied probability. With the regular season winding down ahead of the September 24 resolution, late surges by challengers remain possible in principle but face significant barriers given the current gap and Howard’s established form. Minor roster or playing-time adjustments could theoretically shift outcomes, though official leaderboards show sustained separation.
