Switzerland leads Group B implied probabilities due to its No. 19 FIFA ranking, deeper squad experience, and strong UEFA qualification campaign under coach Murat Yakin. Canada, ranked around 30th and co-hosting matches in Toronto and Vancouver, benefits from home support, Jesse Marsch’s recent tactical setup, and momentum from a 2024 Copa America semifinal run, supporting its second-place positioning. Bosnia and Herzegovina (No. 65) and Qatar (No. 55) trail as underdogs, with Bosnia relying on veterans like Edin Dzeko under new manager Sergej Barbarez while Qatar, coached by Julen Lopetegui and featuring Akram Afif, draws from limited recent success beyond its 2022 host appearance. Pre-tournament friendlies and final squad confirmations in early June have reinforced these relative strengths ahead of the June 12–24 group stage.
