Mexico leads Group A goal tallies after opening 2-0 and 2-1 wins over South Africa and Czechia respectively, yet the market remains tight because South Korea sits just one goal behind with identical points and faces the same remaining schedule. Both sides benefit from strong attacking form and favorable remaining fixtures against lower-ranked opponents, while Czechia and South Africa trail significantly after conceding multiple goals in their debuts. Home support and squad depth give Mexico the slight edge in trader pricing, but the evenly matched group stage format and limited matches played so far keep implied probabilities for the top contenders clustered between roughly 38 and 57 percent.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the team that conceded fewer total goals during the group stage. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically.
If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
