Recent Cologne 2026 Major patch notes and Steam market tweaks, including souvenir trade-up contracts and collection-based sticker groupings, have fueled community speculation that Valve could extend the system to paper stickers soon. This keeps the "No" outcome near even money at 52.5 percent implied probability, reflecting Valve's history of measured rollouts after testing mechanics like souvenir upgrades without committing to sticker contracts. Trader balance stems from active forum chatter around storage units and direct-buy shops versus the absence of official leaks or roadmap signals. A surprise mid-summer patch adding sticker trade-ups would swing odds sharply toward "Yes," while continued silence through the summer Major cycle or fall events would reinforce the current slight lean against implementation before November.

For the purposes of this market, "sticker trade-ups" is defined as an officially supported in-game mechanic that allows players to combine or exchange multiple stickers to receive a higher-tier sticker. The feature must be fully implemented and accessible to all players in the live game client.
If the feature is added as a limited-time, temporary, or beta mechanic that is reversed or removed within 48 hours of its introduction, this market will resolve to "No." This market will remain open for 48 hours after a qualifying feature is released.
For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of the Counter-Strike series.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
