Carlos Alcaraz secured the 2026 Australian Open men's singles title with a four-set victory over Novak Djokovic in the final, completing his career Grand Slam as the youngest player to achieve the feat. The world No. 1 advanced through a stacked draw, defeating top competition including semifinal wins over Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev before overcoming an early deficit with improved pace and second-serve effectiveness. This confirmed result aligns with trader consensus reflected in the current implied probability, as no other contender mounted a sustained challenge on the hard courts. Potential late scratches, weather delays, or unresolved officiating issues remain the only remote variables that could theoretically alter market resolution in an otherwise settled outcome.
