Jannik Sinner has emerged as the clear favorite in the 2026 French Open winner market following Carlos Alcaraz’s withdrawal due to a right wrist injury in late April, removing the two-time defending champion and top clay-court threat from the draw. Traders have priced Sinner at dominant implied probability based on his recent form, including five straight Masters 1000 titles, a 31-match winning streak at that level, and strong performances on clay in Madrid and Rome heading into Roland Garros, which begins May 24. Alexander Zverev and Novak Djokovic sit well behind as the next options, reflecting their solid recent results but also Sinner’s superior consistency and mental edge in longer matches. The field remains wide open beyond the top few, with players like Arthur Fils and Casper Ruud holding modest shares amid typical clay-season uncertainties around form and health.
