The 2026 K League 2 runner-up market reflects deep parity across the division, with mid-season standings showing Suwon Samsung Bluewings, Seoul E-Land, Suwon FC, Busan IPark, Daegu FC, and Hwaseong FC separated by just a handful of points after roughly 20 matches each. Multiple teams remain in the promotion mix following an unusually competitive first half that coaches described as historic, fueled by strong recent form, solid home records, and favorable head-to-head results. Newer sides and mid-table clubs continue to apply pressure through consistent results and squad depth, while lower-priced options like Jeonnam Dragons face steeper gaps in goal difference and consistency. This even spread captures the league's unpredictability, where small swings in form or fixture difficulty can shift final positions.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of K League 2 for the 2026 season per the rules of K League 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the K League 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
