Bass and Duncan, a British pairing with Challenger-level experience, face Chandrasekar and Yuzuki on grass at the Nottingham 2 ATP Challenger event. The Indian-Japanese duo holds the edge in recent form and pedigree, including a 2026 Busan title and multiple prior Challenger crowns for Chandrasekar, whose career-high doubles ranking sits near No. 86. Their head-to-head includes a hard-court win over the Brits in Birmingham earlier in June. Grass surface, home-crowd support, and Duncan’s prior grass results could narrow the gap for the lower-ranked British pair, though limited rest or draw positioning may influence early-round execution.
