Stella Lefty’s “Boston” commands near-certain trader consensus for the Billboard Hot 100’s No. 2 spot the week of September 26 due to its sustained dominance, holding the runner-up position for multiple weeks amid robust streaming, radio airplay across country and pop formats, and TikTok-driven virality that propelled its crossover breakthrough. The track’s consistent metrics, including strong U.S. consumption and international traction, have kept it locked behind Ella Langley’s long-running No. 1 “Choosin’ Texas” while outpacing competitors like Langley’s “Be Her,” Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” and Morgan Wallen’s entry. An upset would require an unexpected late surge in streams or sales for one of the lower-implied-probability tracks, a rare chart anomaly, or a methodology tiebreaker, though recent data shows little momentum for such a shift.
