Nominations for the 60th CMA Awards, announced September 10, have sharpened trader focus on the Musical Event of the Year category ahead of the November 18 ceremony. “A Song To Sing” by Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton holds the clearest edge at 51.5% implied probability, buoyed by Lambert’s seven total nods, producer Dave Cobb’s track record with prestige country cuts, and the pair’s established vocal chemistry. Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen’s “I Can’t Love You Anymore” sits at 25.5%, supported by Langley’s nine-nomination haul but tempered by the competitive field and Wallen’s polarizing profile. The remaining three entries—featuring star power from Kacey Musgraves, HARDY, Eric Church, Tim McGraw, Carly Pearce, and Riley Green—trail at single-digit odds, reflecting narrower appeal and fewer ancillary wins. With voting closing October 27, guild-style industry ballots and late campaign momentum will likely determine whether the frontrunner holds or an upset emerges in this tightly contested category.
