Yorkshire Women host Lancashire Thunder in a Roses rivalry clash at Clifton Park on July 1, marking the first women's T20 Blast meeting between the counties. Both sides sit near the foot of the standings after poor starts, with Yorkshire still seeking their first win after multiple defeats and a no-result, while Lancashire have just one victory from six outings. Yorkshire will look to exploit home conditions and momentum from recent points to improve their net run rate, whereas Lancashire Thunder aim to build consistency behind key performers like Kate Cross. Recent bowling displays have offered encouragement for the visitors, but batting inconsistencies plague both lineups in a low-stakes group fixture.
