England's strong UEFA coefficient has secured an extra Champions League league-phase spot for 2026-27, allowing the top five Premier League finishers to qualify directly. Arsenal, Manchester City, and Manchester United have already locked in places with strong records and points totals that place them well clear of the chase. Liverpool and Aston Villa remain level on points in the fight for fourth and fifth, while Bournemouth sits just behind in sixth and could still reach the threshold with results in the final matches. Recent head-to-head results, including Manchester United's win over Liverpool, have tightened the race for the remaining spots, and teams' remaining fixtures will determine whether additional sides like Chelsea or Brighton can close the gap before the season concludes.
