Paris Saint-Germain enter the 2026-27 Ligue 1 campaign as overwhelming favorites to secure another Champions League berth, extending their run of domestic dominance with a squad strengthened by key summer additions. The race for the remaining top-three or top-four spots—granting direct league-phase access or third qualifying round entry—centers on Monaco, Marseille, Lyon, Lens, and Lille, where recent form, defensive organization, and European experience from the prior season shape expectations. With the campaign opening on August 21, early results, injury reports, and transfer-window reinforcements will quickly influence the implied probabilities reflected in trader consensus. Schedule congestion from European commitments and potential managerial adjustments could create volatility in the mid-table battle for qualification.
