This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is relegated from Ligue 1 at the conclusion of the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Official relegation is defined as a team losing its place in Ligue 1 for the following season through their final standing in the 2026-27 Ligue 1, via relegation playoff defeat, or by any other official league decision recognized by Ligue 1. If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there are no teams confirmed for relegation within that timeframe, the corresponding market will resolve to "No". The primary resolution source will be official announcements from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026–27 Ligue 1 campaign opened on 21–23 August with Troyes and Le Mans arriving as promoted sides after strong Ligue 2 campaigns, replacing Nantes and Metz. Pre-season models and journalist previews consistently flag these two clubs—along with Angers—as the clearest relegation candidates, citing thin transfer windows, squad disruption at Troyes, limited budgets and inexperience at Le Mans, and ongoing financial pressures at Angers. Le Havre and Brest also appear in multiple projections near the drop zone following summer departures and managerial transitions. Early matchday results have already left Auxerre, Strasbourg and others with points deficits, while the 18-team table’s lower half is expected to tighten quickly given limited spending parity and the usual risk of promoted teams returning immediately. Resolution hinges on the final standings after 34 rounds plus any relegation play-off.
