Fresno State enters its 2026 campaign at 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the new-look Pac-12 after a dominant defensive effort in a 26-6 road win over Washington State, its fourth straight victory since a season-opening 39-0 shutout at USC. The Bulldogs have leaned on a balanced attack featuring quarterback Jayden Mandal and a productive ground game led by running back Rayshon Luke, though Luke exited the latest contest in concussion protocol. With a favorable upcoming stretch that includes homecoming against ranked Boise State and road tests at San Diego State and Utah State, traders are weighing the team’s momentum and conference transition against the remaining schedule difficulty and depth concerns in a competitive Pac-12.
