The tight clustering of implied probabilities around 49.5% for dozens of quarterbacks in the 2026-27 Week 2 passing touchdowns market stems from the early-season sample and parity across starting signal-callers. After Week 1, no single passer has separated with multiple scores while others remain at one or zero, leaving roster health, offensive scheme fit, and matchup volume as the main variables. Home/away splits, rest advantages, and recent form from training camp and preseason carry equal weight, as do injury designations that could alter snap counts or target shares. The wisdom of crowds reflected in current pricing shows traders pricing in the inherent volatility of a single-week outcome where any QB with a favorable script or red-zone efficiency can surge.
