The 2026 NFL season's early slate leaves scrimmage touchdown leader odds tightly bunched because Week 1 results produced no dominant red-zone profile across contenders. David Montgomery's multi-touchdown output in Houston's backfield, J.K. Dobbins' workload in Denver, and Dallas Goedert's expanded targets with A.J. Brown absent have elevated those names, yet comparable volume and efficiency belong to Evan Engram, De'Von Achane, Chase Brown, and a broad group of tight ends and receivers such as DK Metcalf and Nico Collins. Official injury reports show limited major absences among this cohort, while roster moves and offensive schemes continue to distribute goal-line chances across multiple backs and pass-catchers. Trader consensus therefore reflects the inherent variability of one-game samples and the league's depth of viable scoring options rather than any decisive separation.

Only games designated by the NFL as Week 2 of the 2026-27 regular season count.
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with more scrimmage yards (rushing yards plus receiving yards) in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with a higher yards per touch average (scrimmage yards divided by the sum of rushing attempts and receptions) in Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other".
If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games.
If Week 2 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past October 7, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in scrimmage touchdowns within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
