This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed term is mentioned by a play-by-play announcer or a game analyst of the official NBC announce team during the English-language broadcast of the New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks game on NBC, scheduled for September 9, 2026 at 8:20 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." This market will resolve based on the events of the official game broadcast, beginning from the opening kickoff and ending with the conclusion of the final play of the game, including any overtime, if applicable. Pregame coverage, halftime studio coverage, and postgame commentary will not be considered. For the purpose of this market, the "NBC announce team" refers only to the play-by-play announcer and the game analyst or analysts calling this game from the broadcast booth. Remarks made by sideline reporters, rules or officiating analysts, studio hosts, guest commentators, in-booth guests, players, coaches, or any other individuals will not count toward resolution, including when such remarks air during in-game interviews or in-game segments. If this game is definitively cancelled, postponed, or otherwise does not air by September 10, 11:59 PM ET, "-No Qualifying Event-" will resolve to "Yes" and all other brackets will resolve to "No". If this game is interrupted, abbreviated, or only partially aired, this market will resolve according to what has occurred up to that point. The resolution source for this market is the national NBC telecast of this game. Any alternate or simultaneous presentation of this game, including alternate broadcasts, alternate audio or commentary feeds, and separately produced local team telecasts, will not be considered for resolution purposes. Only remarks made live during the official broadcast will count toward this market's resolution. Transcripts will not count. For full rules, see: https://polymarket-upload.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/market_products/Mentions/Event+Mentions+Contract+DeFi.pdfThe 2026 NFL season opened with a rare Super Bowl LX rematch between the New England Patriots and defending champion Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday night at Lumen Field, drawing heightened attention to the NBC broadcast team of Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth, and sideline reporters Melissa Stark and Kaylee Hartung. Traders monitoring announcer mentions likely focused on the rematch narrative, quarterback storylines around Drake Maye’s early turnovers and Sam Darnold’s hip injury that forced Drew Lock into action, plus injuries such as A.J. Brown’s ankle exit. Additional context included Mike Vrabel’s Patriots seeking early-season momentum against Mike Macdonald’s Seahawks, key individual matchups like Christian Gonzalez versus Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and historical patterns in conference-champion rematches. These elements shaped expectations for repeated references to the prior title game, injury updates, and defensive stands in a low-scoring 13-10 Seahawks victory.
