The Dallas Cowboys hold overwhelming trader consensus at 91% for George Pickens' 2026 destination after acquiring the wide receiver via trade in 2025, securing him with the non-exclusive franchise tag worth roughly $27.3 million fully guaranteed, and confirming no multiyear extension talks ahead of the July deadline. Pickens signed the tag, reported to voluntary workouts and training camp without holdout concerns, and has shown strong on-field focus alongside quarterback Dak Prescott following his career-high 2025 production. Owner Jerry Jones has publicly endorsed a potential long-term future in Dallas, reinforcing the tag-year commitment. Realistic challenges include a midseason trade if cap or roster needs shift, though current reporting shows no active discussions, or performance-related developments that reopen extension negotiations post-2026.
