Recent meteorological models for the August 23 race at Circuit Zandvoort indicate a lower precipitation risk on Sunday, with forecasts calling for predominantly sunny conditions and highs near 20°C alongside only a 21% chance of showers. This outlook contrasts with higher rain probabilities earlier in the sprint-format weekend, where light showers remain possible on Friday and Saturday. Traders appear to weigh these updates heavily, as drier track conditions would reduce variables around tire strategy, grip levels, and potential safety interventions that often reshape outcomes in coastal Dutch events. Historical patterns at the seaside venue show rapid weather shifts, yet the latest consensus supports elevated odds for a dry grand prix.
