Everton hold a narrow edge in trader consensus for the Crystal Palace matchup, reflecting their strong historical record and Palace’s sluggish start to the 2026-27 Premier League campaign under new manager Pierre Sage. Everton remain unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League meetings with Palace, a run built on set-piece strength and midfield control that has limited the Eagles’ attacking transitions. Palace sit bottom of the early table after two defeats, hampered by injuries to key forwards Jean-Philippe Mateta (thigh) and Ismaila Sarr (groin), plus ongoing adaptation to Sage’s tactical setup. Everton’s more settled squad and recent results position them as the marginal favorite, though both sides’ defensive vulnerabilities and Palace’s home advantage keep the draw in play.
