If the match begins but is not completed, and one player advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the player who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (player withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.Trader consensus prices Puerto Rico at near-certain victory in this ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships Finals London 2026 group stage men's singles matchup, driven by a clear rankings edge with Angel Naranjo (top 150 ITTF) facing a lower-ranked Uzbekistan counterpart and no head-to-head history favoring the underdog. Recent momentum stems from Puerto Rico's April 28 group opener against Brazil, finalized squads on April 13 showing full health, and overall team strength in the event where Puerto Rico secured a 3-1 win over Uzbekistan in recent play. While table tennis upsets via superior spin or adaptation occur, potential shifters include late injury retirement (resolves to advancer), disqualification, or walkover (50-50 resolution per market rules).
