Luciano Emanuel Ambrogi holds the edge in the San Miguel de Tucumán Challenger final against Johan Alexander Rodriguez, driven by his higher ATP ranking near 380 versus Rodriguez’s position around 690, combined with stronger overall recent form on clay. Ambrogi has compiled a 27-15 record in the period, advancing through the draw with consistent results, while Rodriguez enters on a solid 7-1 streak that includes key wins but against lower-caliber opposition. As an Argentine playing on home soil in the Tucumán event, Ambrogi benefits from familiar conditions and crowd support on the slow clay surface. Both players favor baseline rallies typical of South American clay specialists, though Ambrogi’s greater experience in Challenger finals and deeper runs this season position him as the consensus market favorite. Any late fatigue from the tournament schedule or Rodriguez’s momentum could narrow the gap in a best-of-three match.
