The Frenchman arrives with recent momentum from strong showings at 's-Hertogenbosch, including wins over qualifiers and early main-draw opponents on the same surface. Barrios Vera, coming primarily from clay events with mixed results including a recent loss in Bratislava, faces a stylistic and surface adjustment on grass. Their limited head-to-head history offers little precedent, but Bonzi’s higher ranking, superior recent win rate, and grass-court comfort position him as the consensus favorite among traders. Any late injury updates or serving inconsistencies could shift the implied probabilities in this closely contested opener.
