Maks Kasnikowski enters the Enea Poznan Open clay-court clash as the home favorite against veteran Lorenzo Giustino, with recent form and surface familiarity shaping trader views. The 22-year-old Pole, ranked near 280 after a career-high 168, has posted a 7-3 mark in his last 10 matches across challengers, including strong results on European clay. Giustino, 34 and ranked around 209, brings extensive clay experience but arrives with mixed 2026 results and recent losses in similar events. Kasnikowski benefits from local crowd support and shorter travel, while Giustino’s age and recovery from a packed spring schedule on the surface could factor into stamina over best-of-three sets. The matchup pits Kasnikowski’s rising trajectory against Giustino’s proven Challenger-level consistency on clay.
