This market refers to the table tennis match between Croatia and Japan in a WTT event, scheduled for May 4 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to 'Croatia' if Croatia wins against Japan. This market will resolve to 'Japan' if Japan wins against Croatia. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one player advances due to the opponent's retirement, default, or disqualification, this market will resolve to the player who advances. If the match ends in a walkover (player withdraws before the start and the other advances automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.Trader consensus views the WTT Women's Singles matchup between Croatia's Hana Arapovic and her Japanese opponent as a dead-even contest at 50% implied probability for the Croatian, reflecting balanced recent form with no game-changing news like injuries or scratches in the past week. Arapovic demonstrated resilience in late April's WTT Feeder Senec, securing a win over Korea's Yerin Yoo before a competitive loss to Poland's Natalia Gajewska, building on her March victory over Japan's Sachi Aoki at WTT Feeder Varazdin. Japan's player brings stylistic matchup intrigue—potentially favoring spin-heavy rallies—but Arapovic's steady head-to-head experience against Japanese competitors keeps odds tight ahead of the May 4 clash. Momentum from either side's warm-up performances or pre-match training reports could sway trader sentiment.
