The closely bunched implied probabilities among Anish Giri, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu, and Gukesh Dommaraju reflect a deep field of elite grandmasters with elite rapid and blitz ratings above 2750 and strong recent form across speed events. Abdusattorov and Gukesh bring momentum from prior Grand Chess Tour legs and classical consistency, while Giri and Praggnanandhaa have posted solid results in rapid round-robins and head-to-head matchups against this exact group. Vincent Keymer, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, and Alireza Firouzja add further parity through proven blitz strength and recent tournament performances, leaving the 10-player Zagreb field without a standout favorite heading into the June 29–July 6 rapid and blitz schedule.
