This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the K League 2 for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of K League 2 for the 2026 season per the rules of K League 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the K League 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 K League 2 features an expanded 17-team field with newly promoted sides like Gimhae FC 2008, Paju Frontier, and Yongin FC joining recently relegated K League 1 clubs Suwon FC and Daegu FC, creating unusual depth across the table. After roughly 20 matches, the top six remain separated by just five points, with Suwon Samsung Bluewings holding a narrow lead while Seoul E-Land, Busan IPark, Hwaseong FC, Suwon FC, and Daegu FC trade results in a congested race for the two automatic promotion spots. Revised promotion rules that send the top two teams directly to K League 1, alongside expanded playoff access for positions three through six, have intensified focus on finishing second. Recent form, squad reinforcements from the winter window, and balanced home/away splits continue to produce tight scorelines, leaving multiple clubs with realistic paths to the runner-up position and sustaining the market’s clustered implied probabilities.
