The Primera Nacional's split-zone structure and playoff pathway for a second promotion keep the 2026 title race highly competitive, with traders assigning closely aligned probabilities across a wide field. Ferro Carril Oeste and Gimnasia y Esgrima (Jujuy) currently pace their respective zones after 24 rounds, yet the format grants strong contenders from positions two through eight in each group realistic advancement odds via the Torneo Reducido. Recent results show tight margins and balanced home/away splits that limit any single side's separation, while injury reports and fixture congestion continue to influence momentum without creating decisive gaps. This setup sustains broad market consensus around multiple viable outcomes rather than a clear frontrunner.
