This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season per the rules of Venezuelan Primera División (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Venezuelan Primera División; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 Liga FUTVE runner-up race remains tightly contested because the Clausura tournament is still in its opening weeks, leaving ample matches for multiple sides to close gaps or surge ahead after Carabobo claimed the Apertura title. Early table clusters show Metropolitanos, Deportivo Táchira, Deportivo La Guaira, and others separated by just a handful of points, reflecting the league’s longstanding parity and lack of a clear second-tier favorite. Recent fixture congestion, variable home/away splits, and standard injury rotations across squads have prevented any single club from establishing consistent momentum. Trader pricing mirrors this uncertainty, with implied probabilities clustered in the mid-to-high 40s as the season’s second half and potential playoff implications could still reorder the standings.
