The Croatian HNL title race for 2026-27 remains tightly bunched early in the campaign because multiple clubs enter with comparable squad depth, recent form, and limited separation in pre-season preparations. Dinamo Zagreb retains strong domestic resources and European experience but faces scrutiny over squad turnover, while Hajduk Split, Rijeka, and Osijek benefit from stable lineups and positive early results in the opening matchdays. Mid-table sides like Istra 1961 and Varaždin show improved organization without the fixture congestion that can hinder bigger clubs. With the table still fluid after just a handful of games and no dominant run established, trader consensus prices reflect broad parity across the field rather than any single standout.
