This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the LaLiga for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of LaLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of LaLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Barcelona and Real Madrid sit level at the head of the 2026-27 La Liga runner-up market due to their status as the clear title favorites, with the two-time defending champions Barcelona and perennial challengers Real Madrid expected to occupy the top two spots in most simulations. Recent squad reinforcements—including Barcelona’s additions of goalkeeper Joan García and forward Marcus Rashford alongside Lamine Yamal’s contract extension, and Real Madrid’s defensive overhaul featuring Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Álvaro Carreras—have reinforced trader expectations of another season dominated by the duo. Real Betis, fresh off Champions League qualification and bolstered by a competitive roster including Antony and Isco, provide the strongest alternative at 21.5% amid a tightly bunched field where mid-table and promoted sides share modest implied probabilities reflecting the league’s depth and unpredictability.
