This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Ligue 1 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 1 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 1; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Multiple mid-table and European-chasing clubs enter the 2026-27 campaign with comparable squad depth, recent form, and reinforcement activity, preventing any single side from separating as the consensus challenger for second place. Pre-season results and transfer activity have highlighted balanced contention among Lens, Lille, Monaco, Lyon, and Marseille, each benefiting from solid home records and European experience in prior seasons, while promoted sides like Le Havre and Auxerre add further uncertainty through momentum. With PSG projected to run away with the title, traders see a fragmented race for runner-up driven by head-to-head unpredictability, schedule variance, and the potential for one or two clubs to surge on the back of strong starts or key player integrations. This parity sustains the tight implied probabilities across the field.
