Nominations for the 60th CMA Awards, announced September 10, established the five contenders for Musical Event of the Year and shaped current trader positioning. “A Song To Sing” by Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton holds the narrowest edge at 37.5% implied probability, followed closely by Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen’s “I Can’t Love You Anymore” at 33.5%, reflecting strong name recognition, recent chart momentum for Langley, and the appeal of high-profile collaborations. Kacey Musgraves and Lambert’s “Horses and Divorces,” HARDY’s star-studded “McArthur,” and the Carly Pearce-Riley Green duet trail at single digits, with “Other” priced at 50%. The November 18 ceremony remains the key catalyst, as voting patterns among CMA members and late narrative shifts around female-led reunions or multi-artist tracks could still alter the outcome.
