Persistent stratus and sea-breeze effects—common climatological features for the Bay Area in summer—have kept recent daily maxima in the upper 60s to low 70s, aligning with the market’s strongest implied probabilities clustered around 70–73°F. Ensemble guidance shows limited warming potential absent a strong offshore flow shift, though any thinning of the marine layer could push readings toward the upper end of that range or slightly higher. Updated NWS briefings and next model runs will refine these thresholds ahead of resolution.
