Recent momentum in Meta Platforms stock stems from the early September launch of its Muse personal AI agent, which quickly topped app store charts and drove a roughly 10-23% rally over the past month amid optimism for new revenue streams beyond advertising. Q2 results showed 28% revenue growth to $60.8 billion, supported by AI-enhanced ad tools now used by millions of businesses, though EPS missed estimates due to legal charges and severance costs tied to elevated AI infrastructure spending of $130-145 billion for the year. Analyst upgrades, including JPMorgan's raised $820 target, reflect confidence in upcoming products like custom MTIA chips and Meta One subscriptions, with the Meta Connect event on September 23 as the next potential catalyst. The stock trades near $665-670 amid these developments.
