This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Paul Skenes leads the 2026 NL Cy Young market as the clear frontrunner after opening the season with elite command and a sub-2.00 ERA through multiple starts for the Pirates, building on his 2025 unanimous win with strikeout dominance and elite WHIP that has kept opponents off the bases at historic rates. Trader consensus reflects this early momentum, though the race remains competitive as Shohei Ohtani climbs with his two-way contributions and the Dodgers ace Yoshinobu Yamamoto posts strong results in a loaded rotation. Cristopher Sanchez has surged into the mix on the strength of his Phillies outings and breakout form, while Jacob Misiorowski and Chris Sale add depth to a deep field where recent starts and injury resilience continue to shape positioning ahead of the long season grind.
