This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Rookie of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.JJ Wetherholt leads NL Rookie of the Year betting at 58% implied probability due to his elite all-around profile for the Cardinals, including 4.4 WAR driven by strong defense at second base, 13 stolen bases, and consistent on-base skills despite a .241 average. Sal Stewart sits second at 34% on the strength of his power production for the Reds (26 home runs, 91 RBI) and All-Star selection, though his lower WAR reflects less defensive value. Recent July and August form has kept the race between these two after other early contenders like Konnor Griffin suffered injuries, with Wetherholt's broader contributions sustaining the market's consensus edge over Stewart's offensive output. Distant options like Carson Benge and Nolan McLean trail significantly.
