Pittsburgh Pirates' Don Kelly lurks at 19.5%, buoyed by the Bucs' unexpected contention following his 2025 interim turnaround and extension, marking a rare Pirates surge. Chicago Cubs' Craig Counsell (12.5%) and a crowded field underscore tight dynamics, with differentiation hinging on sustained overachievement relative to preseason expectations, divisional leads, and midseason momentum amid injury risks and NL wild-card volatility.
