Several MLB teams remain tightly bunched in the race for the highest ABS challenge success rate because overturn percentages fluctuate with small sample sizes, differing challenge volumes from batters versus catchers and pitchers, and late-season usage patterns. The Cincinnati Reds hold a modest edge through strong catcher leadership and selective timing in high-leverage innings, while the Mets and Cubs stay close behind via improved batter accuracy and defensive staff execution. Recent August results show how head-to-head matchups, rest advantages, and roster tweaks can shift team totals quickly, keeping implied probabilities competitive among the top group as the season winds down.
