This market will resolve “Yes” if any player throws a Perfect Game in any game during the 2026 MLB season (including postseason). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A “Perfect Game” is achieved when a pitcher throws a complete game without allowing a baserunner. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it cannot be determined if a Perfect Game occurred within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Perfect games in MLB demand a starter deliver nine innings with zero hits, walks, or errors, a feat that has occurred only about two dozen times in league history. As of mid-May 2026 none have been thrown, aligning with the typical pace where many seasons finish without one. Modern roster construction and analytics have sharply reduced complete games, with starters rarely exceeding 100 pitches and bullpens handling late innings to protect arms. Defensive miscues and the increased offensive firepower from launch-angle hitting further complicate the required perfection. These structural trends underpin trader consensus that the remainder of the 2026 schedule is unlikely to produce the outcome priced near 18 percent.
