This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Western Conference Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus heavily favors Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 67% implied probability for Western Conference Finals MVP, driven by the top-seeded Thunder's dominant 4-0 sweep of the Lakers in the conference semifinals, capped by his 35-point, eight-assist closeout performance on May 12. As the reigning league MVP, Shai's playoff averages of nearly 30 points with elite efficiency underscore OKC's home-court advantage and series-favorite status against the surging Spurs. Victor Wembanyama's 31.5% share reflects his historic postseason defense—20.4 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 4.2 blocks per game, including a playoff-record 12 blocks and 17-rebound explosion in Game 5 versus Minnesota—positioning San Antonio as a live underdog after advancing. Lower probabilities for Anthony Edwards and others stem from eliminated teams like the Timberwolves.
