This market will resolve according to the first individual who is officially announced as the successor to Jamie Dimon as CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. by December 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET. An announcement of a successor will be sufficient for a "Yes" resolution regardless of whether the announced replacement actually becomes the next CEO of JPMorgan Chase. Interim CEOs will not qualify. If no successor is announced by December 31, 2028, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source will be public statements from JPMorgan Chase & Co, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Recent executive moves have sharpened the succession race at JPMorgan Chase, with Marianne Lake's June retirement removing a longtime frontrunner and elevating co-presidents Doug Petno and Troy Rohrbaugh as the clearest internal contenders. Jamie Dimon's unchanged timeline for stepping down, paired with the board's decision to promote the two veterans into broader roles, signals a deliberate narrowing that traders are pricing into tight implied odds around 50% for Lake and Petno. Rohrbaugh's lower 18.5% reflects his more specialized background, while the cluster of other candidates at similar levels underscores the market's view of an open, multi-year contest where board preferences and future performance metrics remain decisive swing factors.
