This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 Conn Smythe Trophy for the 2025-26 NHL Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NHL rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2025-26 NHL Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Jordan Staal has surged to frontrunner status in the 2026 Conn Smythe race** as the Carolina Hurricanes captain leads his team 3-2 over the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Final. Staal’s five-game goal streak in the series ties an NHL record, supported by strong high-danger chances, power-play contributions, and penalty-kill leadership on a unit posting elite success rates. This consistent impact across the postseason has shifted trader consensus heavily toward him, especially after Carolina seized the series lead. Mitch Marner of the Golden Knights remains the clear second choice following earlier standout performances, including a record-setting hat trick in Game 3, though his odds have lengthened as Vegas trails. Teammates and fellow Hurricanes forwards such as Taylor Hall, Logan Stankoven, and Nikolaj Ehlers sit further back, with their chances tied to potential Game 6 or 7 heroics amid Frederik Andersen’s recent benching. The pricing reflects the Hurricanes’ current series edge and Staal’s timely production in high-leverage situations.
