This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Western Conference Finals for the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Western Conference Finals per the rules of NHL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Colorado Avalanche enter the 2026-27 season as the consensus top Western Conference threat following their Presidents’ Trophy-winning campaign and loaded core of Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, and Martin Necas, though a first-round playoff exit last spring and roster tweaks around aging depth pieces keep their implied probability near 21.5%. Edmonton’s McDavid-Draisaitl duo, new coaching under Mike Babcock, and goaltending questions support their 15.5% positioning, while Vegas, Dallas, and Minnesota sit close behind on the strength of recent playoff runs, defensive structure, and forward depth. The bunched pricing across multiple clubs reflects a wide-open conference where small edges in health, special teams, or deadline additions could shift outcomes quickly in a deep field.
