This market will resolve to “Yes” if any team records a perfect 17-0 record during the 2026 NFL regular season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. If the 2026 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed beyond January 17, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or only partially completed, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 17-game NFL regular season schedule, combined with league-wide parity and elevated injury risk across 32 teams, makes an undefeated campaign highly improbable. Preseason projections from models like ESPN's FPI and betting win totals peg the strongest 2026 contenders—such as the Rams, Bills, and Ravens—at roughly 11.5–12.5 wins, well short of perfection. Historical precedent reinforces this view: only the 1972 Dolphins finished 14-0, while the 2007 Patriots reached 16-0 before faltering in the postseason. Recent seasons have produced strong records like 15-2 but no flawless campaigns, and factors including difficult schedules, quarterback depth concerns, and weekly matchup variance further suppress the odds of any club navigating 17 straight victories.
