Salahdine Parnasse’s first-round TKO of Dan Hooker at UFC Paris on September 5 has elevated his standing in the lightweight division, creating multiple plausible next-matchup scenarios that keep the prediction market tightly bunched near 50 percent. Fresh off an emphatic debut, the former KSW champion has publicly targeted top-five competition and singled out Max Holloway as a dream bout while signaling availability before year-end. This openness aligns with several established lightweights whose records, recent form, and stylistic matchups fit the profile of a high-profile step-up fight. With no official booking announced and several contenders active or recovering from prior bouts, trader consensus reflects the genuine uncertainty over which name the UFC will prioritize for Parnasse’s sophomore appearance.
