The Uruguayan Primera División determines relegation via a two-season average points-per-game table combining 2025 and 2026 results, placing multiple clubs in a narrow band around the 13th position. Newly promoted sides Albion, Central Español, and Deportivo Maldonado carry no 2025 points, making their 2026 Clausura form decisive while established teams like Danubio, Cerro, and Montevideo Wanderers carry heavier historical burdens that compress their current margins. Early Clausura results show Montevideo City Torque and Liverpool leading with strong records, yet inconsistent results from Progreso, Danubio, and Albion have left the lower half of the annual table fluid. Mid-season transfers, including arrivals at Boston River and Albion, add roster variables as the remaining fixtures and potential playoff implications continue to shift the projected averages. This combination of differing match counts, recent form swings, and the averaging formula keeps implied probabilities tightly clustered across the field.
