Eastern teams maintain superior international records, deeper talent pools, and consistent adaptation to evolving patches and fearless draft formats. Play-in results already showed Team Liquid swept by T1, underscoring execution gaps under pressure. Bracket-stage matchups against BLG, TES, HLE, or T1 will test whether LCS roster stability, recent form, and home-region preparation can produce an upset. A single LCS victory would require favorable meta shifts or Eastern slumps, keeping the implied probability near even as traders weigh underdog potential against entrenched regional dominance.
