If the results of MSI 2026 are not determined by July 26, 2026 11:59 ET, the event is cancelled or postponed past July 26, 2026, this market will resolve to "50-50". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the LoL Esports website (https://lolesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/Mid-Season_Invitational/2026) may also be used.G2 Esports enters MSI 2026 in Daejeon as LEC's top seed after winning the 2026 Spring split, while Karmine Corp joins as the second seed in a double-elimination format featuring LCK sides like Hanwha Life Esports and T1 plus LPL squads such as Bilibili Gaming. Trader balance at 50% for an LEC Bo5 win over an Eastern opponent stems from G2's proven international pedigree and star players capable of exploiting Eastern execution lapses in high-stakes series, offset by the consistent regional gap in macro depth and individual ceilings shown by LCK and LPL squads in recent MSI and Worlds cycles. Early bracket seeding, play-in matchups among second seeds, and the mid-year patch environment further sustain equilibrium, as any LEC upset would likely require G2 reaching the upper bracket and capitalizing on a favorable stylistic clash. Roster stability, First Stand carryover results, and head-to-head trends from prior international events keep the implied probability tightly contested without a clear favorite.
